Kinetic typography isn't a term that many people understand. At it's heart, the act of adding a fourth dimension (time) to the classic art of typography. Paceworks product line was particularly good at animating typography, thus a thorough exploration of the field was necessary to understand how our products could fit in.

I wrote a research document outlining the important points as they related to Paceworks. Other supporting documents outlined the features and design aspects of the software that the research related to. Accompaning a my research document, was a collection of animations to illustrate the points. Shown here are examples from a Carnegie Mellon University class, whose instructer we worked with on the research. All rights are held by the university and the students who created these videos.
