Object Dancer v1.1

ObjectDancer, Paceworks' debut product, was a low-cost video and web animation package that gave incredible power to home and semi-professional Macintosh users. I joined Paceworks soon after their 1.0 release, and was tasked with designing new features and assisting the engineering team in making updates.

Paceworks second project was to be a Windows application that was focused on home users who had an eye on web animation. GifDancer had to be simpler then it's cousin while also adding features and options that were more appropriate for web animations.

As work progressed with GifDancer, another product emerged called GifServer. GifServer took the back-end functionality of the application and allowed you to access the animation production and content creation over the web. By separating the content from the "Dance" (our name for the animation and motion data) we could allow people to create web banners, greeting cards, and other animations without the time consuming tasks that animation normally requires.
